Mr. Mohsin Gulzar is a professional researcher/data analyst who recently completed his M.Phil degree in Economics from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad. Previously, he holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Gujarat, Bachelor’s Degree in Economics plus Journalism from the Punjab University, Lahore. Mr. Gulzar was born on December 31, 1989 in Gujarat, Punjab.
He has almost 4 years of professional experience in Social/Development Sector and has worked with number of organizations. Mohsin has served as researcher/data analyst with National Rural Support Program-Benazir Income Support Program (NRSP-BISP), University of Gujarat (UOG), Community Uplift Program (CUP), Governance Institutes Network International (GINI) and Centre of Gender and Policy Studies (CGaPS) on different donor funded projects. Currently, Mr. Gulzar is working with Management System International as Researcher/Data Analyst on PERFORM, Pakistan. During his professional life, he has worked in different social dimensions including Education, Taxation, Public Finance, International Trade, Labor Markets and Poverty. Based on his experience, he has comprehensive knowledge of social and development issues prevailing in country. Mr. Gulzar is a passionate humanitarian and is working positively for communities uplifting by participating in different welfare initiative at local level. He wants to become a development practitioner to raise voice for marginalized sections through evidence-based research. He aims to complete his Ph.D. Economics with special focus on Governance and Public Policy from internationally reputable institution.
